In Internet Explorer

Go to... Tools / Internet Options / Security
Click on "Custom Level".
In the Security Settings window scroll down until you get to the section called Scripting (near the bottom).
Under Scripting there is a catagory "Active scripting", select the option marked "Enable" for this catagory.
Click the OK button.
Refresh your browser.
If you see this square white box change to oval with rounded corners, then Javascript is enabled successfully.

In Firefox

Go to... Tools / Options
Select the option marked "Enable Javascript"
Click the OK button.
Refresh your browser.
